I have a sort of love/hate relationship with keyword research. On one hand I love finding those golden nuggets that have the power to pull targeted visitors to your site that actually want to read your content.
On the other hand I hate manually searching and sifting through all the fluff to get there.
I’m impatient and want instant results, I want to know if a niche has potential or if it’s going to be a flop.
What Is A Keyword Research Tool Used For?
If you are new to online Market research the chances are that you don’t know what a keyword research tool is or what it’s function is. I’ll just bring you up to speed with a simple explanation. If this is teaching you to suck eggs and you already know about keyword tools you can skip to the next section here.
In its simplest form a Keyword tool will help you find words and/or phrases that people are searching for and provide you with vital data about these searches so that you can identify a “gap” in the market.
This will give you the information you need to target a specific area in a niche that needs a product or service that you can put in front of prospective buyers to solve their problem.
The most basic way to explain how it works is this:
- Search for a keyword or phrase
- collect the data
- analyze the competition
- Repeat – until you find the “low hanging fruit” Keywords.
Keyword research takes time regardless of what tools you use so this process should not be rushed. This is what I mean about a love/hate relationship, but I know that if I put in the time and effort I can find keywords that will put my articles in front of eyes. That is the ultimate goal, because if people don’t see your content your business will crash and burn.
Introducing Jaaxy – The Future Of Keyword Research…
Most keyword software will show you a heap of useless information and can be confusing to decipher.
The truth is you don’t need complicated results that look like a scientific equation.
Some keyword tools give you so many information columns that everything becomes a blur.
In my opinion there only a few things you need to look for when deciding if a market is ripe:
- Does the Keyword make human sense?(Would you use the phrase in conversation)
- How much competition is there for the keyword?
- What volume of traffic does the keyword get?
The above is the criteria that I follow when Researching a niche, this is the way that I was taught and it doesn’t have to be anymore complicated than that. Find out how you can get the same training as me from Wealthy Affiliate here.
One of the most important things with keywords is whether it makes grammatical and human sense. If you wouldn’t use it in a conversation then why would you use it in an article?
Think about how many times you’ve performed a search online, realized you spelled it wrong and re-typed it. I do it all the time, and even after the results have been displayed I always retype or click the “did you mean” from google.
When checking the competition there are a few numbers that you need to keep in mind. The average traffic for the keyword, search traffic and competing websites. If you know what these numbers are and pick the right ones you’ll be onto a winner.
So you’re looking for keywords that have low competition, a reasonable amount of traffic and are SEO ready.
It sounds easy doesn’t it? Well, it is if you have the RIGHT data in front of you.
The Skill To Finding Profitable Niches Is In Your Grasp!
For most people the biggest fear when starting an online business, especially within affiliate marketing, (promoting somebody else’s product or service) is the uncertainty of the competition surrounding a particular niche.
There is a fine line between too much competition and none at all, competition is a good sign that the niche you are going into is active and has potential buyers looking for your offer.
Jaxxy simplifies the research process allowing you access to a number of tools that makes it easy to find laser targeted keywords. You can then use these keywords to create your campaigns to a specific audience increasing the visits to your website which can then increase your conversion rate.
Let’s take a quick look at how the Jaaxy keyword research tool works and the potential “hot” targeted keywords that are available. I want to find keywords with less than 200 competing pages, gets reasonable traffic and makes human sense.
Niche Search #1: Soccer Boots
As you can see, from one search we have uncovered a number of awesome keywords that we could use to create plenty of content for our website. There is enough competition to suggest that the market is very active and worth going after, without being saturated.
Now let’s search for Plastic Snack Bowls.
Niche Search #2: Plastic Snack Bowls
Amazing! As easily as that I have found at least 15 more highly targeted keywords in a completely different niche. I could write enough content around most of these keywords from either search to populate my website, enough for at least one post a day for the next few weeks.
That gives me an edge over other marketers in the same niche as I drip feed my posts and build out my site for the search engines. Building my credibility as an authority site and move up the rankings in search results. All this achieved in less than 5 minutes!
This shows the power that Jaaxy has over other keyword research tools that would take hours of painstaking research, not to mention deciphering the complicated data.
No Domain name? No Problem, Jaaxy Has You Sorted!
One of the features of Jaaxy is that it will tell you which exact name domain is available. That is very powerful stuff, because now you can pick up a domain with your keyword in it. With a search that shows 30 results means that you have the possibility of 90 EMD that you could buy.
You could use these for building your own websites or re-sell them for a profit. The possibilities are endless.
I’ll show you what I mean:
Remember, these are highly targeted keywords with good traffic, low competition, high SEO score AND the Domains are available.
I think we may have stumbled across a market with the potential of high profitability.
Hopefully you can see the potential of keyword research giving you the chance to stay a step ahead of your competition.
You could potentially buy up these domains and build sites and posts around them giving you the power to dominate the first page on Google.
